The Dreamers
-
Written by RauCous
He dreamt she was there, Before the sunrise,
He had held her so near,
Drawn into awe by her eyes.
But it’s barely a dream.
It’s truly his nightmare.
Soon he will awake
And soon she will fade,
His delusion will break,
With all the progress he has made.
But she is still real.
And he is still a huge fake. She imagined he was close
As she laid down her head.
Until the sun arose,
When she came to face the dread.
He’s not around.
Then her lonelyness grows gross.
She could make it past the rain,
And make it through school,
Succeed in masking her pain,
So noone knows and its cool.
But it stabs her inside,
This loneliness could drive her insane.Only if he’d call to kill this,
And save them both from the decay.
Or if she would miss,
What they could’ve had and just say,
“hey, whats up?”
‘I really missed you today.”
If only he would share,
All the poems her wrote to her,
Actually show that he does care,
Cause both sad hearts to stir.
They could fall in love outside of dreams,If only to either them it were so clear.
